Jeanette Charlie 61, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by loved ones on Thursday December 1st in Farr West Utah . Jeanette Charlie was born april 4, 1961 to Judy Werito and Johnny Charlie. Jeanettes clan was Naakai dinė é born for Nihoobáanii clan.
Jeanette was a loving mother of 4 children and a fur mom to her baby named Mammas; a loving sister to 2 brothers and 5 sisters. Jeanette grew up in Bloomfield NM. Where she attended Bloomfield High School there she made numerous life long friends. Jeanette went on to model in the Sante Fe Tribune where she modeled Native American Jewelry . After her modeling career Jeanette went on to work at the New Mexico State capital with former senators Tony Anaya, John Pinto, Tom Udall and former governor Bill Richardson. In 1979 Jeanette gave birth to her first child Riahannon Nelson followed by the birth of her sons Jerrad, Guy and Knowen.
Jeanette had a heart of gold, spreading love and kindness to everyone. In 2007 Jeannette moved to Ogden, Utah where she spent the remainder of her life making life long friends at the Historic Kokomo Club & Local Dillards, Saver’s and other locally owned stores.
Jeannette gave her life to the Lord in 2018 she attended church at the Potters House Christian Fellowship. Jeanette was well known for her cooking, she could whip up some delicious banana bread, potato salad and frog eyes salad just to name a few. She loved her kids, grandkids and family tremendously. Her many shopping trips & outings with her sister Annette was something she enjoyed. Her life partner Harry Bileen Jr was another great love of hers. She enjoyed fishing, camping and spending quality time with her sons and family.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her father Johnny Charlie, sister Patricia Matheson, grandson Kee and life partner Harry Bileen. She is survived by her sons: Jerrad (Eugenia Bileen), Guy, Knowen and Rhiannon Nelson. as well as her grandkids: Jaylynn Bileen, Cynayrah Bileen, Cyennah Bileen, Kailynn Bileen, KaeJay Bileen, Kaede Bileen; Mother Judy Werito, siblings: Annette Whiteeagle, Barbara Matheny (Scott), Truby Werito, Jackson Werito, Beverly Levi (Tiai); numerous nieces, nephews and cousins that loved her so much.
The services & viewing for Jeanette will be held on Wednesday December 7, 2022 at Aaron's Mortuary located at 496 24th St Ogden Utah 84401. The Viewing will be from 11 to 12 pm with the Funeral Service to follow at 12 pm.
