Jeff passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on September 19, 2024. He was a source of comfort, smiles, and laughter for all who knew him.
Jeff loved people from all walks of life and was universally loved in return. Throughout his life, Jeff was well-read, social, and affable, effortlessly engaging others with his charm, humor, and wit. He had a remarkable ability to make those around him feel valued, always showing genuine interest in their lives, which made every interaction enjoyable and memorable. He will leave with us a legacy of laughs and love.
Jeff graduated from Morgan High School and Weber State University. He proudly served an LDS Church mission in the Central British Mission. He married Sally Brewer on August 26, 1978. After living some time in Salt Lake City and Ogden, Jeff and Sally made their home in Morgan where they raised their four children: Christopher (Lindsay), Elizabeth (Jeff), Samantha (Ryan), and Trevor (Charlie).
Jeff was an ever-faithful husband, compassionate father, and extraordinary grandfather, affectionately known as “Papa” to his 9 grandchildren: Mason, Jace, Jack, Hudson, Isaac, Daxton, Graham, Adaline, and Piper. He was also beloved by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Jeff loved the Gospel of Jesus Christ and was a life-long member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in various church callings and loved the leaders of his church. Jeff and Sally enjoyed serving two service missions together. Engaged in keeping his community strong, Jeff was involved in local politics and served as a Morgan County Commissioner.
