JENNIE MARIA ERNSTSEN

Adios mi hermosa madre, te amo muncho.

Jennie was a bundle of energy, will, wit, and beauty, but passed away on August 17, 2015.  She loved her husband Jerry (1935-13), two kids Jerriann and Matthew (1964-09), son-in-law Chris Klinkenberg, granddaughters, sisters and brothers, and her dog Lucy. Shopping, travel, food, theater, art, music, and dance were her passions.

 She was a highly respected OR nurse, so much that she “closed cases” for doctors, and after retiring, was requested to return as a private nurse for a prominent plastic surgeon team. Once a nurse always a nurse.  She took care of Jerry for years in her most protective and loving way. Even near her end, some of her last words were telling ER staff that they needed more sponges for her head wound, and her hospice nurse that if she took that long in the OR to wrap a bandage, she would have been fired! Sadly, she died tragically even with all our care. Thanks to Alex and Michelle (Symbii), Erin (Harmony), and all at Mt. Ridge.

 Her memorial will be Sunday, November 29, 2015 from 1-2 pm, followed by an open house to kick off the holiday spirit as she would have wanted. For more information, call 801-679-9354.
