Jerri Alexandria Drake passed away peacefully and surrounded by loved ones on December 5th, 2021. She is survived by her mother, Barbara(Paul), father and second mother Jerry and Sharlet. Sisters Katrina, Emily, Jenna and Larken. Brothers Demitrius (Sherry), Derrick, and Stu. Family by choice Katie, Ty, and her kitties Toulouse, Marie, and Berlioz. She is preceded in death by her brothers DK, Chad and her grandparents whom have been waiting at the the gates of Heaven to welcome her home.

Jerri, otherwise known as Alex, was a practicing Catholic and stood strong in her faith and belief that angels were all around us. She enjoyed watching competitive cooking shows and recreating her favorite dishes for her friends and family. Born on one of the hottest days of the year, she embodied the sun wherever she went. Her love and light never wavered and her smile is one that will be deeply missed by those fortunate enough to have known her. Her smile was often largest when watching the Dallas Cowboys or Utah Jazz win a game. Her compassion was one of her greatest qualities, and blessed more than just the people in her life. Thanks to her care, all the animals in her neighborhood had a full belly and a warm place to stay. Not only was she a constant light to those able to experience her warmth, she was also a direct descendant of Davey Crockett, and she carried that fighting spirit with her in her final hours.

After passing from complications due to a perforated viscera, she will always be remembered as a daughter, sister, and aunt. A soul taken far too soon.

A viewing will be held Thurs. Dec 9, 2021 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Aaron’s Mortuary, 496 24th Street, Ogden,,Utah. Services will be held on Friday, December 10, 20201, Rosary is scheduled for 1:30 pm with Funeral Mass to follow at 2 pm at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 514 24th Street, Ogden, Utah.
