Jerry Gallegos

Jerry Gallegos (Homie) past away at home on October 18, 2017 of a broken heart.  He was born in Cerrio, New Mexico July 26, 1931  to Samuel Gallegos and Virginia Vigil.   He  later moved to Ogden, Utah where he married the love of his life, Mary L. Gallegos.

His wife, Mary preceded him death on October 8, 2017.  He is also preceded in death by two sons, Danny Gallegos (2008) and Jeremy Anthony Gallegos( 1996)

Jerry is  survived by his son,  Elmer (Leti) Gallegos of Lubbuck, Texas and daughter, Sarah (Joseph) Gallegos of Ogden, Utah; lots of nieces nephews; 13 grandchildren and 25 great- grandchildren.

He was known for fishing,. saying  "Homie, don't you know me?"  and always wearing his shades and saying "Where's the good stuff?".

He will be missed by family, lots of friends. and most of all his pets .

Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, October 24, 2017  at 10 am at St Mary's Catholic Church, 4050 S 3900 W, West Haven, Utah.  A viewing will be held Monday evening, October 23, from 6 to 8 pm with Rosary at 7 pm at Aaron's Mortuary, 496 24th St, Ogden, Utah.
