Joan Pryor Makin

The light of our life shining forward, beloved wife mother, grandmother, born April 1, 1949 died Wednesday morning, September 16, 2015.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas L. Makin; son, Thomas “Brett” Makin; daughter, Stacie Gay Makin;  son, Jeremy Scott Makin; 13 grandchildren, Anita Saady, Julie  Reynolds, , Andrew Howard Makin, Benjamin Harold Makin, Samuel Thomas Makin, Christopher Ali’i Makin, Abbigail Charlotte Makin, Natalie Mary Makin, Collin Scott Makin, Courtney Gwen Makin, Giselle Rodriguez, Rohan Rodriguez, Galilea Lopez; new daughter-in-law, Ana C. Makin and sister, Gaye Pryor Keene.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Howard “J” Pryor and Gwen Sharlot Lashua Pryor; and brother, David Howard Pryor.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 18, 2015 at 11 am at the Ogden LDS 3rd Ward Chapel, 15th & Washington Blvd, Ogden, Utah with a viewing from  10 to 1045 am prior to the service.

A funeral service will also be held Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 3  pm at the Minersville LDS Ward Chapel, Minersville, Utah with a viewing from 2 to 245 pm prior to the service.

Interment Minersville, Cemetery.
