John Gary Combe

John (Bompa) Gary Combe of West Haven, formerly of South Weber, died Friday, February 15, 2013. He was born May 27, 1939 at the family home in Uintah, UT to John W. and Myrtle Combe. John grew up in Uintah, Morgan and moved to Stevensville, MT with his family at the age of 15. He graduated from Stevensville High School in 1957 and immediately joined the Air Force. He served 4 years and returned home and married his high school sweetheart, Gail Higgins, in Stevensville, MT on September 9, 1961. They moved back to Utah where they started a family. John worked for Highland Dairy a year and then established Johnny's Dairy with his Dad in South Weber in 1962. He continued to operate the dairy farm and various other ventures until his retirement in 2001. After retiring they bought a home in West Haven and enjoyed his time with Gail and being Bompa to his 13 grandchildren.
