JOHN HENLEY MILBURN

October 28, 1940  -  April 4, 2016

John Henley Milburn of Ogden, Utah passed away peacefully. By his side were his wife of 56 years, Patricia Milburn and his son Keavin Milburn.

John was a graduate of Harrison High School in Harrison, Arkansas and a graduate of Northrop Institute of Technology in Inglewood, California with an Electronic Engineering Degree.  John's work with Westinghouse took him to St. Louis, Israel and then to Hill Air Force Base in Ogden, UT, where he worked until his retirement.

Two of the biggest joys of his life were when his son, Keavin Milburn and daughter-in-law, Linda Milburn, gave him a grandson, Michael Thomas Milburn and a granddaughter, Avalon Nicole Milburn.  It was really exciting when they came to ski with Grandpa.

John particularly enjoyed his retirement and loved skiing at Snow Basin and Powder Mountain, camping with his family and friends and became active with his wife in showing their miniature schnauzers in the sport of agility. He made many long lasting friendships in the skiing world and in the “Doggie” world.

John is survived by his wife, Patricia Milburn, of Ogden, Utah, his son, Keavin Milburn, daughter-in-law, Linda Milburn, grandchildren, Michael Thomas Milburn and Avalon Nicole Milburn.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Ewing Milburn Jr., his mother Wilma Henley Milburn, a brother, Thomas Ewing Milburn III, of Harrison, Arkansas, and his son Tod Parker Milburn of Ogden, Utah.

Services will be held at a later date in Arkansas. Condolences to the family may be sent to:  www.aaronsmortuary.com
