Born in Dover Township, Ohio

John Alvin Obermiller, 77, peacefully passed away at home in his sleep Monday, June 19th  2017. John is survived by his daughter; Sandra Obermiller and 5 Sons; Tommy Obermiller, James Obermiller, Mike Obermiller, Wayne Obermiller and Brian Obermiller and he was blessed to have many siblings, nieces, nephews, grandkids and great grandkids to fill up his life. He is predeceased in death by the love of his life Linda Obermiller who he was married to for 52 years before her passing in 2012, and one daughter Shelly Obermiller.

John was known for being a hardworking, easy going, fun guy to be around. He loved the outdoors and made lots of good memories camping with his family. He was a caring giving man who took care of everyone around him.

 A celebration of life party will be held for John, he wanted his passing ceremonies to be simple and fun, that’s just the kind of guy he was. His ashes will be mixed with his lovely wife Linda’s and spread in a small private ceremony at the place of his choosing.
