John F Tangney

On the evening of Tuesday, August 30th, 2022, John F. Tangney passed away in Stevensville, Montana. He was born on May 4th, 1978 in Casper, Wyoming, to his parents, Joan Vera Fisher Tangney Dellasilva, and Bart Allen Tangney. He had 3 younger sisters, Arissa (Ian), Whitney (Eric), and Karly. He grew up loving sports, the outdoors, playing video games, riding his bike, and spending time with his family.

John grew up in Syracuse, Utah and went to Clearfield High. He later became a very skilled concrete finisher, which became his life’s work. John married Holly Ann Bodtcher in December of 2004, but they later divorced. John is remembered as being very social, outgoing, goofy, welcoming, and the life of the party. He also enjoyed teasing his sisters. John was dearly loved and will be incredibly missed by many.

He is survived by his mother Joan, his three sons Quinton, Ryan, and Tage, his sisters, several uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. John is preceded in death by his father Bart, daughter Karsin, dad Paul Dellasilva, grandparents, Aunt Reggie, and cousin Braxton.

A viewing will be held for John on Wednesday, September 7th, 2022 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Aaron’s Mortuary, 496 24th St. Ogden, UT 84401. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
