John E. Weitzel

LAYTON-John E. Weitzel, 48, died Monday February 1, 2010 from injuries sustained in an accident. He was born October 19, 1961 in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Elmer and Mae Weitzel.

He was a man of many talents and enjoyed fishing very much.

John is survived by his children; Derek, Shancee, and Skylar Weitzel and Joshua and Austin Wheeler, granddaughter Kylee Weitzel, sisters; Deanna Sullivan, Floye Weekly, and Jacquie Jones, and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Mae, his sister, Sandy Heiden, and nephew, Flint Jones.

A gathering of remembrance will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at the Clearfield LDS 3rd Ward Church, located at 350 Vine St. Clearfield, UT. from 1:00-3:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to help with expenses in the name of John E. Weitzel Memorial Fund at First National Bank.

Cremation is under the direction of Aaron's Mortuary & Crematory 1600 Washington Blvd. Ogden, UT.
