Jolene Pool Baxter passed away on December 22, 2014 in Ogden, UT. She was born August 30, 1937 in Petaluma, CA. In her last years she enjoyed her companion Dennis. They loved going to Wendover together, they took care of each other, and was always there for each other.
Our mother wanted to be cremated and her ashes spread in a casino, any casino in Nevada. So I told her I would wear cuffed pants and place her ashes in the hem of my pants and walk around the casino. She loved that idea! Until I mentioned that the housekeeping crew would vacuum up her ashes and deposit her in the back garbage dumpster, we decided that wouldnât be a good place to rest in peace.
Our mother also loved to fish, camp, and participate in Roundezvous.
She leaves behind her daughters, Carrie Hansen (Darrol) and Charlene Boyer; and her son, Joey Klechkowski. She had five grandchildren, Darwin Hansen (Tina), Michael Hansen (Robyn), Chuck Hansen (Brandy), Anna Hansen (Adam), and Daniel Boyer. She also had 15 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her brother Elbert âSkipâ Pool. She is now with him and her parents and her grandmother that she adored.
