Jose Theodosio Herrera (Uncle Jr.) passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 13, 2015, surrounded by his loving wife and family. He was born June 24, 1932 in Dulce, New Mexico to Bernardita Florez and Theodosio Herrera. On Dec 31, 1955 he married the love of his life Maria (Mary) Martinez in Sunset, Utah. They were blessed with two children that died at a very young age. They were always fond of children so they helped raise many nieces and nephews.
He worked for many years at the Toole Army Depot, Hertz Rent-a-Car in Ogden until retirement and then Supersonic Car Wash.
He is preceded in death by his twin sister, siblings Edumenio, Paul, Aurelio Herrera, Lugarda Valdez, Carmelita Lucero, and Sally Barrera.
He is survived by his wife Mary, Sister Rose (Vaughn) Ashley, Sister in law Frances Herrera numerous nieces and nephews. A Special Thanks to all who helped care for him during his final days.
Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at 10 am at St Joseph's Catholic Church, 514 24th St, Ogden, UT 84401. Inurnment Lindquist's Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch
