Joseph Larry Lopez, Sr. 

November 19, 1955- October 28, 2016

After a great and long fight, Joe decided he wanted to return Home and passed away peacefully in his sleep. Joe was born to Nicky and Leo Lopez in Colorado, where he resided for the majority of his childhood, then later moved to Ogden where he enjoyed the rest of his life. 

Joe loved painting as a hobby and was fortunate enough to make a career out of it. He also loved to go fishing and camping, shopping for anything and everything, watching The Denver Broncos, and spending time with his grandchildren, of whom were the light of his life. 

He is survived by his children: Brandy Lopez, Nicky Lopez, and Joseph (Kayla) Lopez; his grandchildren: Anicya, Gabriel, Aniyah, Ayzik, Aubriella, and Dominic; his brothers and sisters: Freddy, Mitchell, Barbara,Jackie and Tina; many cousins, nieces and nephews and friends.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents. 

Funeral Mass will be held in his honor on November 4, 2016 at 10 am at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church, 514 24th Street, Ogden, UT. Friends and family may attend a viewing  Thursday, November 3, 2016 from 6-8 pm with Rosary at 7 pm at Aaron's Mortuary, 496 24th Street, Ogden, UT.

Brandy and Joseph, Jr. would like to thank Cynthia with Access Hospice and everyone at Liberty Dialysis for their care with their father. 

Joe will be loved and missed by many, many people.
