Joseph Eugene Rader Sr.
August 10, 1963 ~ March 16, 2015

Joseph was called home to his Heavenly Father on March 16, 2015 due to a battle with several chronic illnesses. His love for his family kept him going until he couldn't fight anymore.

Joey was born in Pocatello, Idaho to Julia Rader. He was raised in Ogden by his two mothers, Julia Rader and Ricarda Dominguez and grandfather "Dad" Frank Dominguez.

He enjoyed camping, all outdoor activities, watching movies and sports, especially his football team Pittsburg Steelers.
He was the kind of person to give you the shirt off his back or the last dollar he had. He will be a tremondous loss to his family and anyone lucky enough to have crossed his path.

He was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. We know he's at peace and watching over all of us.

Joey is survived by: his mother Julia Rader; his devoted wife Lisa Rader of 33 years; his sons, Jojo (Stefanie) Rader, Isaac (Querstin) Arguello, Manuel Martinez; his daughters, Serena (Sterling) Love, Vanessa Rader, Aniesa (Fred) Rader, Angel Munoz; his brothers Phil Hall, John (Tami) Hall, Frankie Dominguez, John John Rader, Phillip Rader, Tomas Martinez and Johnny Red; two sisters, Angelique (Rick) Chavez and Tammie Rader. He had 19 grandchildren, six whom he raised and lots of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his brother Jerry Hall, son TJ Arguello, sister June Dominguez and grandmother (Mom) Ricarda Dominguez.

God saw him getting tired,
and a cure was not to be.
So He put his arms around him
and whispered,
"Come with Me."
With tearful eyes
we watched him suffer, and
saw him slowly fade away.
Although we loved him dearly,
we could not make him stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
hard working hands put to rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Aaron's Mortuary 496 24th St, Ogden. Thursday, March 26, 2015 funeral services will be held at Hope Resurrected Church at noon. Graveside services will follow immediately after at the Ogden City Cemetery.

We would like to say a special thank you to the staff at the Ogden Regional especially Jeff and staff at U of U. He also had a very special bond with his uncle, best friend Phil Hall.
