Joseph D Terkelson

OGDEN-Joseph Derek Terkelson passed away on August 10, 2011. He was born on March 28, 1967 in Ogden, Utah a son of Joseph G. and Fawn R. Tafoya Terkelson.

Joe's Mom, Tafoya passed away when he was three years old. When he was six, Norma Slater was given the honor of becoming Joe's Mom.

Joe graduated from Clearfield High School in 1985 and was employed at Western Zirconium for 22 years. He had many friends and was very involved in music as a member of the Clearfield High School band.

In addition to music, he enjoyed movies and the outdoors. His favorite activites were camping, fishing and playing pool.

He was a loving son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. Joe was very bright and curious and a source of information on many subjects. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Joe was preceded in death by his Mother and his grandparents in the Terkelson, Tafoya and Slater families.

He is survived by his Dad (Joe), Mom (Norma), his brothers Roland Bahe, Anthony (Tony), Corey and his sister Gina, a niece and nephew, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A celebration of Joe's life will be held on Saturday, August 13 from 1PM a€" 5PM at Jensen Nature Park, 3176 South Bluff Road, Syracuse, Ut.
