Joyce Denise Furniss Kay

Joyce Denise Furniss Kay, age 65, passed away from complications of COVID-19 on October 26, 2021.

Joyce was born November 16, 1955, to Dentor and Janette Wilkie Furniss in the Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, Utah. She graduated from Ogden High School and attended college at Weber State University. Joyce was also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Joyce is survived by her brothers, Alan (Karen) Furniss of West Jordan, and Chriss (Dolores) Furniss of Kaysville. Sisters, Carolyn (Richard) Clark of Ivins, and Laurie (Ray) Zwernik of Roosevelt. She is preceded in death by her spouse Stacy Kay, infant sister Eileen Furniss, her brother-in-law Richard Clark, and her oldest brother Richard and his wife Sharon.
Graveside services will be held on her birthday, November 16, 2021, at the Ogden City Cemetery.
The family would like to thank Rocky Mountain Care Center and Utah Valley Hospital for the exceptional care they provided to Joyce.
