Joyce Bangerter Kimball

Joyce Bangerter Kimball passed away peacefully at her home on April 8, 2013 surrounded by family. Joyce was born February 14,1943 to Alma H and Helen Lone Bangerter in Ogden, Utah.

Joyce was raised in Clearfield and graduated from Davis High School. She married Frank J Erb and later divorced. She then met the love of her life and best friend Eldon J Kimball who she married November 18,1978 and later were sealed for eternity on June 7, 1980.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Alma H. and Helen Lone Bangerter.

Joyce is survived by her spouse, Eldon J Kimball of Clearfield Utah; Son, Scott Kimball ( Jane Vanderburgh) of Louisville, KY; Daughter, Lisa ( Jerry) Merten of Bitely, MI; Daughter, Kris Kimball ( Christina Rice) of Clearfield, Utah; Son, Bill Kimball ( Roberta Courtney) and Mike Kimball. Grandchildren, Tiffany A Kimball, Shannon Phillps, Jennifer Courtney, Justin M Kimball, Andrew J Kimball, Elizabeth K Merten, Ian L Merten, Olivia M Merten, Jordan A Kimball, Skylar A Kimball, Noel Schuern, Dj Schuern, Morgan Smith, Lydia Smith and KC Smith; Great Grandchildren, Breeanna, Mikayla and Jack; Siblings, Lowell (Judy) Bangerter and Ruth (Meade) Stirland.

Joyce went to nursing school and worked at Mckay Dee Hospital for many years before she retired. Caring for others was not only part of her job but her life. She helped many through quite service and had compassion for people she enjoyed reading and traveling with Eldon as they went to the Blacks Hills and Dakotas and other adventures they shared. She enjoyed music and loved to sing. Joyce's smile could lift others and light up a room.

She was a very loving and Caring person who loved everyone including her husband and her children her grandchildren and great grand children very much she was a kind and giving women and was very much loved by all who knew her she will be remembered and missed very much. The Family would also like to thank Thatcher Brooks Home health care and Hospice for their care during this time.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 12, 2013, 11 am, at the Clearfield 6th Ward Chapel, 975 N 220 W, Sunset, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 9:45-10:45 am at the same location. Interment Clearfield City Cemetery.
