Judith (Judy) Lynn Wade Moffitt

Judith (Judy) Lynn Wade Moffitt was born on February 12, 1948. Judy passed away on February 3, 2025. She was 76 years old at the time of her passing. Judy was raised and spent most of her life in Ogden, Utah graduating from Weber High School and attending Weber State University. She was a teacher at Clearfield Job Corps where she taught bookkeeping and auto body repair. In her 50’s Judy went back to school and also became a Machinist.

Most of my memories of my mom included her with a book in her hand and cup of coffee in the other, she was an avid reader sometimes reading multiple books at a time. Mom had a bit of a gruff personality, but she definitely had a soft spot for animals. Anyone that knew her later in life has heard several stories about her Beloved dog, Shaolin, a male Akita that gave her great comfort and companionship. Judy was proud that she raised three sons, Matthew Nelson (Deborah), Tory Nelson (Christina), and Briggs Eric Conolly.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Robert R. Wade and Elaine Malan Wade. She was the oldest of 5 siblings and is survived by Cathy Rhode, Deeann Taylor, Phillip Wade, Jon Wade, Jan Hall, her three sons, four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Judy wished to be cremated, and no funeral services be held.
