Our beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend passed away at home on July 28, 2024. He was 30 years old.
Julian was born March 22, 1994. He graduated from Washington High School in 2012.
Although Julian faced many challenges in his life, he navigated through obstacle after obstacle seemingly unfazed. An inspiration to those of us who knew and loved him.
Julian was a loyal son, brother, cousin, and friend. He made friends easily and had a kind and gentle spirit. He would do anything for his friends and family. He was funny, intelligent and had lots of stories to tell. He loved researching on his computer. Julian's favorite pastime was making music and beats on his computer for hours on end. He loved spending time with his family, walking the dogs, he loved barbecues, carne asada burritos, and ribeye steaks. He enjoyed taking drives through the canyon with his dad. He would often say, "let's make some good memories". That's going to be hard without you, Son. You will be so missed.
Julian's time here was too short. A sobering reminder that every day is a blessing, and every day is a gift. We do not know how much time we have here. "Lives are like rivers, they go where they must, not where we want them to." (Richard Russo) We were not ready for Julian to leave this world, but we do know we will see him again! Every life must come to an end, but Love lives on forever!!!
Julian is survived by his parents, Isaac and Lisa Montoya; brothers: Manuel (Amelia) Montoya, Ruben (Jolice) Montoya, Isaac (Amber) Montoya, Miklo Montoya; sister, Asia (Buddah) Montoya; and many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Lupe and Jose Rodriguez; grandparents, Joshephine Rangel, Dina Amador; uncles, Emmanuel and Tony; aunts: Becky, Liź, Mary Alice, Bernie, Hope; and cousin, Divinaty.
