June Elaine (Bower) Spinosa

December 28, 1939 — February 10, 2013

June Elaine (Bower) Spinosa passed away February 10, 2013 at McKay Dee Hospital. She was born in Waukegan, Illinois, December 28, 1939, the daughter of Charles and Anne Bower of Zion. She spent her young life in Zion attending Elmwood Elementary, Central Jr. High and Zion-Benton Township High Schools. She moved to California, living in San Pedro and Rolling Hills Est. She married and had five children. After living there for over 40 years, she then moved to Ogden, Utah. She attended Summit Chapel, where she served as its treasurer. One of her greatest joys was walking the back trails in the mountains, taking in God's beauty, especially during the colors of autumn. She is survived by three sons and two daughters: Jeffrey (Charleen) Brock of Paso Robles, CA, Ray (Rita) Brock of Ogden, UT, Vince (Hanna) Spinosa of Torrance, CA, Tracy (Turk) Paculba of Paso Robles, CA, and Kelly (Hiram) Valentin of San Pedro, CA , along with 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Anne (1970); father, Charles (1986); two brothers, Richard (1977) and Donald (1947) and her husband, Tony, in 2010. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, February 17, 2013 at 12:30 pm at Summit Chapel, 585 39th St, South Ogden, Utah 84403.
