Kara Lyn Waffle

Kara Lyn Knoefler Waffle, 44 of Ogden, Utah, passed away suddenly on Sunday December 12, 2021.
Kara was born on October, 23 1977 to Elvin (Al) Knoefler and Laurel (Lori) Wickam Berrett in Riverside, California. Kara graduated from Hemet High School in 1995 where she was proud to be in ROTC. She continued her education with some college and several professional certifications.
Kara had many talents. She was an accomplished AP and Payroll professional with 25 years in accounting. But her best talent was the way she cared for and loved people. She gave of her time and love unconditionally. She was proud to be a wife and mother and considered it to be her greatest accomplishment.
In 2005 she met Mark Waffle, and they wed in 2006. She started off her marriage with a lovely daughter, Emily Waffle and went on to have two more children, Trace (15) and Angela (14). In 2011 they were sealed for time and eternity in the Las Vegas, Nevada temple.
Kara leaves behind many friends and loved ones that will sorely miss her. She is survived by her husband Mark Waffle, children Emily, Trace and Angela. Mother, Lori Berrett (Joe), Father, Al Knoefler (Carolyn), Sisters, Desiree Braden and Cheryl Sprinkel (Jacob) as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and grandmother.

Services will be held December 31, 2021 at 2:00 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 787 E 1700 N, North Ogden, UT 84404. Request those not vaccinated wear masks to the service
