Kelly Sam Hashimoto

April 15, 1972 — July 26, 2012

Kelly Sam Hashimoto passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at his home in Pleasant View on July 26, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born on April 15, 1972 to Leon and Sandra Hashimoto of Brigham City. Kelly was the second of four children.

Kelly was a 1990 graduate of Box Elder High School. He went on to serve an LDS Mission in Sapporo, Japan, then returned home and received his Bachelor's Degree from Weber State University. He married his wife, Le (Luu), on July 12, 1997. They were later sealed together for time and all eternity, along with their children, in the Logan LDS Temple on December 11, 2010.

All who knew Kelly were touched by his infectious personality and love of life, and were inspired by his positive attitude. He will be missed by his family and the many friends he has made throughout his life.

He is survived by his wife Le along with children: Kenji (14), Alyah (12), and Ian (6); also by his parents, Leon and Sandra Hashimoto; brothers, Bryan and Kevin (Ashlie) and sister, Lisa Hall (Matt).

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Pleasant View 6th Ward, 900 West Pleasant View Dr, Pleasant View, UT 84414. The viewing Monday evening, July 30, 2012, from 6 to 8 pm and Tuesday, from 9:45 to 10:45 prior to the funeral services at the church.

Services are under the direction of Aaron's Mortuary of Ogden.
