Kendel L. Oldfield
March 7, 1943 to August 16, 2015
Kendel passed away August 16, 2015 at home in West Haven. He was born March 7, 1943 in Denver, Colorado.
He was baptized a member of Jehovahâs Witnesses in 1953, member of the north congregation in Ogden, Utah.
Kendel married Emlee Joyce Butler on January 1967 in Henderson, Nevada. Lived in the Ogden area and had two Sons; Kaleb and Kendel II.
He was a journeyman plumber/pipe fitter and welder but most of all an instructor. He loved teaching and taught at Ogden-Weber Applied Technology College, Davis Applied Technology College and Salt Lake Community College. He graduated Ben Lomond High School and earned his Bachelorâs Degree at Utah State University.
Kendel loved fishing, gardening, travelling and meeting people. He had a vast knowledge of many subjects.
He is survived by his Wife, Emlee; his Son, Kaleb and Sister, Joan and his Brother, Robert; Brother-in-law, Eric and his Grandchildren; Eelje, ValJon, Shea, Lejynd and Kindyl.
He is preceded in death by his Father, Louis Oldfield; his Mother, Ethel Oldfield; his Sister, Linda and his Son, S Kendel II.
Kendel will be greatly missed.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, August 28, 2015 at 6 pm at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 333 West 7th Street, Ogden, Utah.
