Kerry Allyn Burnett

Kerry Allyn Burnett departed this life on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at the age of 59 following bypass surgery.  The world lost a loving, kind, funny, outgoing, and generous father, brother, and friend.  Kerry was born December 15, 1956 in Ogden, Utah to Arlyn and Barbara Burnett . 

He graduated from Ben Lomond High School in 1974 and served a London, England South LDS mission.  On September 9, 1982 he married Jeannine (Stark) Richins, they were later divorced.

Kerry had a great sense of humor and loved people.  He worked for Thiokol, the Salt Lake Airport and Greyhound.

Kerry had a passion for sports and was a natural from a very young age. His willingness to teach, coach and share his passion will forever be remembered by his family and friends.  He touched the lives of many and will be so dearly missed.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory: four children, Brandon (Cory) Stewart, Tyler (Debbie) Stewart, Bryce Burnett, Brienne (Clarke) Alder, and eight grandchildren; six siblings,Michael (Dottie) Burnett, Blair (Sheryl) Burnett, Shauna (Scott) Shupe, Kevin (Joann) Burnett, Bart (Bridgette)Burnett, Janae (Gary) Price.

 He is preceded in death by his parents; niece, Natalie Burnett; and sister- in- law, Janet Burnett. 

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at 11 am at the LDS Chapel, 125 E 5350 S, Washington Terrace, Utah 84405  A viewing will be held prior to services from 9:30 to 10:30 am.  Interment will be held at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road, Ogden, Utah
