Our loving son, brother, dad, uncle and friend passed away on September 20, 2016.

Koty was born June 28, 1987 in Ogden, Utah to James Martinez and Pamela (Trujillo) Taulbee.

Koty enjoyed camping with family, fishing, hiking, biking and was very adventurous.

Koty is survived by one son, Gabriel Martinez; sister,  Mere (Aaron) Reyes; brothers,  Jon Kristofferson and Anthony Martinez; niece, Yori Reyes; many aunts, uncles, cousins and a very special life-long friend, Delia.

Koty is preceded in death by his grandparents, Florentino and Cordelia Trujillo and Manuel and Julia Martinez.

Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 11 am at St Joseph Catholic Church, 514 24th Street, Ogden, Utah.  A viewing will be held Monday, September 26, 2016 from 6 to 8 pm with Vigil at 7 pm at Aaron’s Mortuary, 496 24th Street, Ogden, Utah.
