Kyle Adair Mosher

Kyle Adair Mosher – a man defined by love for his family and love for the Lord – died Friday, December 15, 2017.  He was 90 years old.

Reunited with his son, Tim, and many family and friends, Kyle is now doing the things that brought him great joy here on Earth – including casting a fishing line on a peaceful river and lingering over cups of coffee at the best breakfast diner in heaven. 

Kyle was born August 11, 1927, in Ogden, Utah to Donald Hay Mosher and Lillian Ruth Stark Mosher, the fifth of nine children.  Kyle graduated from Weber High School in 1945 and enlisted in the United States Navy, where he served on a floating dry-dock carrier.

Upon his return to Utah, Kyle married Beverly Ann Allen and the two had three children:  Beckie, Debbie and Timmy.  Though they would later divorce, caring or Timmy during his illness forged a closeness between the two that lasted until his death and taught their children and grandchildren invaluable lessons about love, forgiveness and respect.

Kyle worked at Hill Air Force Base as a warehouse foreman until his retirement in 1982.

Kyle is survived by his daughters, Rebecca (Jay) Clarkson and Debra (Michael) Padgett; his grandchildren,: Alyssa (Chris) Robbins, Angie (Scott) Welling, and Adam (Emily) Welling; and his great-grandchildren, Avery and Aiden; his siblings:  Walter Mosher, Evelyn Hartman, and Rick Mosher.  He is also survived by a large extended family, including Beverly and Jim Parkin, Pat Allen, Jerry and Della Allen and countless nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his son, Timothy Roscoe Mosher; brothers:  Richard, Bobby, Arthur, Loren, Leonard and a sister, Lillian.

A graveside service is scheduled for Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 2 pm at Lindquist's Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd, Ogden, Utah.  Following the service, friends and family are invited to gather at the Christian Worship Center. 1821 W 4000 S in Roy, Utah.
