Larry William Hayes

Larry William Hayes, a dedicated father and cherished member of his community, passed away on October 15, 2024, in Farr West, Utah. Born in American Fork, Utah, Larry was the son of Robert E. Hayes and Devola King Hayes.

Larry is survived by his beloved wife, RaeLyn Cameron Hayes, whom he married on February 17, 2012; son, Cameron Ray Hayes; and twin daughters, LaRae Dee Hayes and Lillian Diehl Hayes. He also leaves behind daughters from a previous marriage: Adrian (Justin) Balzer, Amber (Don-Mikel) Bartlome, and Audrey (Brandon) Gilpin; as well as grandchildren: Burkely, Javen, McKenley, and Roxanna. 

He was also the proud brother to Bobby (Joene) Hayes, Michael (Emiliya) Hayes, and sister Vickie (Marv) Paxton. Larry was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Dee, along with his parents, Devola King Hayes and Robert Eskelson Hayes.

Larry had a passion for life, relishing the time spent with friends and family. He had a particular fondness for all things John Wayne and enjoyed watching 'Walker Texas Ranger' and 'M*A*S*H.' His love for animals was evident through his cherished dogs, Midge and Rillie, and he especially enjoyed rodeos and demolition derbies.

A seasoned forklift driver with over 30 years of experience, Larry concluded his career as a security guard, exemplifying his dedication to hard work and responsibility.

Friends may visit with family at a memorial service held in his honor on October 26, 2024, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Aaron's Mortuary, 496 24th Street, Ogden, Utah.

In lieu of flowers, an account has been opened in Larry's name at Golden West Credit Union.
