Laurie Ann Jones
(October 8, 1964 - October 25, 2023)

Laurie Ann Jones, age 59, born in Ogden Utah, gracefully earned her wings on October 25, 2023. Laurie was a loving mother, sister, daughter, and grandma.

Laurie brought a warmth and light to the lives of those fortunate enough to know her. Her kindness, compassion, and unwavering love touched the hearts of many.

Laurie loved the outdoors, camping, cooking, and being around her children and grandchildren. Laurie dedicated her life to raising her children. Her family was a great source of her happiness. Laurie enjoyed her time listening to county music and singing and dancing along. She had a warm soul and brought laughter to everyone around her.

Laurie is survived by her children: Jeffrey Cavalli, Trevor Jones, Chad Jones, Brandy Jones, Sylvia Tholen, and Ethan Smith. She also cherished her siblings: Larry Batchelor (Bonnie Batchelor), Laine Batchelor, Tahna Roueche, Kim Hebon, Randy Spencer; sister-in-law ,Wanda Payne, Ted E and Sharon Payne; sister, Karla Carlson, and sister, Robbi Sherlock.

Laurie was an adoring grandmother to: Octavia, Isabell, Noah, Jackson, Kylen, and Gorden.

Laurie was preceded in death by her first husband Richard Cavalli and her second husband Melvin Jones, her mother Grace M Batchelor, father Gilbert Payne, step- father Larry Batchelor, brother Ty Batchelor, brother Lydell G Payne, and brother Wesley C Payne.

A celebration of Laurie’s life will take place on November 18, 2023 at 4 pm at 375 Harrison Blvd, Ogden, UT 84404. Glory of God Catholic Church.

Laurie will forever be in our hearts, and her memory will continue to inspire us all.
