Leland H. Monson Jr

FARR WEST-Leland H. (Fritz) Monson, 86, passed away on July 14, 2009 after a lengthy illness. He was born in Ogden, Utah on September 2, 1922 to Leland H. Monson Sr. and Ada Button Monson.

His wife Florence, of sixty-six years survives him as do their three children; Michael Taylor and Marilee Monson; of Ogden, and Tara (Jim) Nickol; of Bellingham,WA., who presented them with ten grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers, Derald (Ramona), and J. Mike (Darlene) Monson.

He was preceded in death by an older brother Wiley Monson.

His final wishes were for cremation and for no special services. His family have been together for remembrances and all wish to express their gratitude and thanks to Alpine Hospice for their loving care.

Cremation is under the direction of Aaron's Mortuary.
