Leonard Robert Johnson

Leonard Robert Johnson, age 70, passed away at home on Friday, November 18, 2011 from a long illness, after being so lovingly cared for by Roy and Sharon Wright. He was born on August 21, 1941 in Brigham City, Utah son of Thomas Alexander and Lois Adella Floyd Johnson. He is survived by his daughter, Laurie (Keith) Hopper, son Marty Johnson Warren, stepchildren; Vylinda Nelson, Michelle Fredrickson, Troy Detwiler, three sisters; Veda Hoff, Jaunice Holloway, LaRae Johnson, two brothers, Floyd Tom (Connie) Johnson, Leon (Kathy) Johnson, grandchildren, and many nieces , nephews, great nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog Sunny. Preceded in death by his parents and one new born brother, Jesse. Always a hard worker, he worked for Thiokol for seven years and then retired from Hill Air Force Base after thirty years. He also worked as a handyman. He was an avid golfer, loved boating, hunting, fishing and his family. He always had a joke to brighten your day. He was loved and will be greatly missed by family and friends. Please join us in celebration of Leonard's life. Dress casually, lunch will be provided at the Riverdale Community Center 4360 S. Parker Dr., Riverdale, Utah 84405, on November 26th from 12:00-3:00pm. Graveside services will follow at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of Aaron's Mortuary & Crematory, 1600 Washington Blvd. Ogden, UT. In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent to Sharon Wright in Care of Aarons Mortuary.
