Linda Lee Lopez

Linda Lopez was called back to her father in heaven, on January 19th, 2019 . Linda Lee Stracner was her maiden name. She  was born May 26 ,1953, and grew up in Ogden UT.  Linda was very close to and shared much of her childhood with her great grandmother, the late Mary Schow, who she loved and adored dearly.

Linda is survived by her siblings: Calvin Stracener, Waid Stracner, Terry Virginia, Mary Joe Porter Muniz, and Joe Muniz. Linda married 3 times throughout her life; first husband was Fred Dickerson, Larry Carter, and Robert Lopez, all of who are deceased today. Linda also met Guadalupe Portillo in the 80's. They never married but were together for many years and gave birth to their one and only child they shared together, Maria Portillo,  which was the baby of both sides of the family. 

She had 6 beautiful children, 2 of who are with her in heaven today; the late Misty Mae Dickerson & the late Ryan Carter. Her surviving children are: Paula Dickerson, Jake Dickerson,  Lonnie Carter and Maria Portillo. Linda had many grandchildren and a few great-grand children.

Linda lived her life to the fullest, she knew how to make you laugh until your stomach hurt. She was absolutely stunning, her beauty was rare,  her contagious smile, would steal the attention from everyone in the room. She was quick witted, quirky, one of a kind, and wasn’t afraid of much. She loved to cook for her loved ones, she  was a great seamstress. She had the ability to turn any house into a warm loving home. She will be missed by many, but never forgotten, and loved till the end of time.

Her wishes were to be cremated, and spread with her last late husband, Robert Lopez.

Services will be held at a later date.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Tuesday, February 5, 2019 from 6 to 8 pm with Sharing of Memories at 7 pm at Aaron's Mortuary, 496 24th St, Ogden, UT.
