Lisa Marie Kaneshiro passed away Monday, February 1, 2010 at her home. She was born into a catholic family, February 23, 1963 but converted and was baptized Lutheran.
Lisa was a dental office manager for over ten years and a full time mother for over nineteen years.
Her loves were first and foremost her family and friends which she loved dearly and would do anything for. She loved to cook not so much for herself, but she loved to see people happy and enjoy themselves.
She was a creative person with new ideas in her head all the time. Animals were another one of her loves. She would stop to pick up strays so she knew they were safe, just as she would do with every person she met, she only wanted to see them be happy and know they were safe.
Lisa loved the outdoors especially camping and traveling, she loved visiting new places and meeting new friends everywhere she went. She spent three years in Italy with her husband and two boys and loved every minute of it, the sites, the people, and the way of life. She just loved life, and lived it to the fullest.
She is survived by her spouse Rex Yutaka Kaneshiro, two sons; Cameron Blake and Kyle Reese, her parents Kenneth and Nancy Davis, brother Kenneth Davis, sister Ligia Battistuzzo, grandmother Anne Williston, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews in Utah, California, and in Brazil.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations be sent to the American Cancer Society, or to Ascension Lutheran Church. Thank you for all your love and support!
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. at the Ascension Lutheran Church, 1100 N. Washington Blvd.
Cremation is under the direction of Aaron's Mortuary & Crematory.
