Louann Huss

Louann Huss, 85, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2012 following surgery. She was born August 22, 1927 to Clifford and Ruth Schofield Huss, in Ogden, Utah.

She graduated from Weber State College with a degree in education. She enjoyed teaching and substitute teaching. She taught many area children to swim during her 70 years of teaching. She also taught percussion and accompanied "Kids are Music" and several other groups on her drums. She loved to golf and play Bingo.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Marianne Huss; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Kay Riley Kaiser and her brother, Douglas Huss.

Cremation is under the direction of Aaron's Mortuary of Ogden. Private graveside services will be held Friday, November 9, 2012 at 2 pm in Ogden City Cemetery.
