Louise Vigil

CLINTON - Louise passed away quietly in her sleep at home November 26, 2014 the age of 85.
Louise was born August 14, 1929 in Rio Arriba, New Mexico the youngest daughter of Precilliano and Delfinia Martinez .
She married Elfido Vigil Jr. November 23, 1946 in Santa Cruz, New Mexico. They were married for 65 years.
She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church.
Louise worked and retired from the Weber County Hospital where she made many good friends and still kept in touch with them .
She loved spending time with her kids and grandkids. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and was very talented in needlepoint winning many awards including Best of Show at the local fairs.
Louise is survived by her two sons, Eugene Vigil and Gerald Vigil both of Clinton and daughter, Arlette (John) Butts of Layton; seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; brother, Martin Martinez of Velarde, New Mexico and sister, Angie Archuleta of Pueblo, Colorado; also many other close friends and relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband and two sons, Henry Vigil (Vietnam) and Roger Vigil; two sisters, Perfecta Folsom and Maggie Hall and brother, Tom Martinez.
Funeral Mass will be held Friday, December 5, 2014 at 10 am at St Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 210 Chapel Street, Layton, Utah.
A viewing will be held Thursday evening December 4, 2014 from 6 to 8 pm with Vigil and Rosary at 7 pm at Aaronâs Mortuary, 1050 S State Street, Clearfield, Utah. Interment Clinton City Cemetery, 750 W 800 N, Clinton, Utah.
