In Loving Memory of Lucia, my Wife and companion of 17 years, who passed away Monday evening November 3, 2014 at 9:55 pm after battling with terminal cancer at the young age of 69 at home with her loving family by her side.
Lucia Cabuenos was born in Calbiga, Samar, Philippines on October 27, 1945. At the age of 16, she married Clem R. Brown and moved to the United States in 1961. From there, she had a baby girl named Primitiva on August 24, 1970. She moved from state to state and also overseas, due to her being a military wife. In 1992, she moved to Ogden, Utah where she worked as the Lead Housekeeper at Hill AFB, that is where she met her now husband Dee Price. On October 12, 2011 she became an America citizen. On October 23, 2013, she officially married her loving husband Dee Price.
She is survived by Her Husband, Dee Price of Ogden, Utah; Step-Son, John Price of Boise, Idaho; Her Daughter, Primitiva Brown-Oehmke, Son-in-Law, Marcus Oehmke and Grandson, Amarii of San Diego, California; Sister, Rosita Painter of Ogden, Utah; and Sister, Remidios C. Cafe and Brother, Vicente Cabuenos of Calbiga Samar, Philippines, and her loving poodle April.
Friends and family are invited to meet from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Monday, November 10, 2014 at Aarons Mortuary, 496 24th Street, Ogden, Utah. There will also be a gathering at the Hill AFB Chapel from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm that same day.
The family requests that no flowers be given, but if you would like to help they will accept small donations to cover costs.
Her sister Rosita will be taking her back home to the Philippines to rest with her mother and father, and to be close to her childhood family.
