Lucy M Romero

Our mother, Lucy M. Romero, age 90, passed away peacefully  at home of natural causes on September 8, 2023 to reunite with her family.  She was born June 9, 1933 to Zarcarias and Renee Garcia Martinez in Cerro, New Mexico. 

Her employment included the  Ogden Turkey Plant to Ogden City Schools as a Teacher Aide, and last E.A. Millers where she retired   Lucy  then became a homemaker again taking care of her grandkids and great-grandkids, the loves of her life.

Lucy is preceded  in death by her husband, 1 son, parents, 2 sisters, 2 brothers, 2 grandkids, and a few nephews and nieces.

She is survived by 2 sons Mike (Beth) Romero and Jon Kerry; 2 daughters Debbie (Beto) Rueda and Tammy (Jose) Romero; 11 grandkids, 30 great-grandkids, 14 great-great grandkids; 1 brother Zarcarias (Rachel) Martinez and 1 sister Pam Martinez both of Monte Visita CO; 2 sisters Orpha Martinez and Oma Roybal both of Ogden; and numerous nephews and nieces.

 We, the family, would like to give a special thanks to the Rocky Mountain Hospice Caregivers:  Nurse Tracy, Sasha, Amy, and Jessica for the great care you all gave her.

On behalf of our mother’s wishes there will be no services.
