WEST HAVEN-Lucy Emma Schwitzer Roueche' 83, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2009 at Mt. Ogden Nursing and Rehabilitation in Ogden UT. She was born June 24, 1925 in Ogden, Utah to George William and Alida Francis Fessler Schwitzer.
Lucy was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She married Doral Vincent Roueche' on February 11, 1954, they were later sealed in the Logan Temple.
She worked for seventeen years for F.W. Woolworth at the ribbon counter as well as decorating the window displays.
She is survived by her daughter Terry Roueche' and her husband Doral, also surviving are her brother Vernal (Ann) Schwitzer of Roy, and George (Mary) Schwitzer of Evanston, WY.
She is preceded in death by brothers and sisters; Francis Nelson, Leona Gomm, Vearl Schwitzer, Edith Bradshaw, John Schwitzer and her parents.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, February 26, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. - Lindquist Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road, Ogden, UT.
The family would also like to thank the staff at Mt. Ogden Nursing, Inspiration Hospice, and Dr. Stephen Bruce's office, for the care they gave Lucy.
