With a mix of love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Lucille Gayle Stringham on May 02, 2021. Following multiple health challenges and struggles. Lucy passed away from natural causes.
Lucy was born October 27, 1939, to James and Bernetta Woodward in Idaho Falls, Idaho. The family lived in Shelley (Idaho) for all of her upbringing. She graduated from Shelley High School in Shelley, Idaho. She attended Ricks College. Lucy served a full time mission in Vancouver, British Columbia Canada. She married Byron Jay Stringham on March 23, 1973. In passing, she is reunited with her parents. She is survived by her 4 sons: Brandon James, Karl Bryce, Robert Jason and Matthew Curtis (Angela). She is also survived by her siblings: Caryl Davies (Dan), Sharon Woodward, Janis Woodward, and Kevin Woodward, as well as numerous nieces and nephews (too many to count).
Lucy liked to bake, read mystery novels, watch mystery movies and gameshows. She did cross stitching and liked to go for long car rides through the country side. Her number one priority in life was taking care of her family. She will always be remembered for her love for animals and telling stories. She loved to read and read thousands of books in her lifetime.
