Lydia Louise Warkentin

January 11, 1944 — September 24, 2015

 

Clearfield- Lydia Louise Burrows Warkentin, 71, passed away peacefully at the Avalon Care Center on September 24, 2015.  She was born January 11, 1944 to Joseph Earl Burrows and Mina Lydia James in Ogden, UT.  She graduated from Ogden High School  in 1962 and worked at HAFB for 22 years.

 

Lydia married William Henry Warkentin on December 14, 1990.  Lydia had 3 previous marriages David Hansen,  Richard Jackman, and Leslie Thompson.  Lydia had three children, Eva Cathleen Hansen (Monte) Pearson, Curtis Hansen and Aaron Jackman.  Lydia was a very caring and loving person.  She enjoyed her children, grandchildren and animals.

 

She is survived by her children, Cathy (Monte) Pearson; Curtis Hansen and Aaron Jackman; grandchildren, Royce Pearson, Korynn Hansen, Taylor Hansen, Jane Hansen, Darrell Hansen, Shelby Jackman, Evangelina Jackman Salazar; and step-children, Christie (Alan) Warkentin, Jenanie (Steve) Warkentin, and Sam (Erin) Warkentin.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her adopted parents, (William Earl Cherry; Bertha Neeley Cherry); and her grandson, Curtis “Button” Hansen.

 

Funeral services  will be held Thursday, October 1, 2015 at 11 am  at Aaron’s Mortuary, 1050 S State St, Clearfield, UT 84015.  A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:45 am  prior to the service.  Graveside service immediately following at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd, UT 84403.
