Marcy A Wood

Marcy A Wood died of natural causes, on Friday, May 10th, 2013. She was 85 years in age. Mom was born on November 24th, 1927, in Troy Indiana, where she was raised and educated. Her mother and father, Ethel and Ervan Lindeaur, were a great inspiration throughout her life. Mom married Bill Simpson, who fathered two daughters, Becky and Cindy -they were later divorced. In 1956 Mom married James Jones, who fathered Cheryl and Mike, and they moved to Utah, they were later divorced. On 12-29-1976, mom married the true man of her life, Glen Wood. Glen was a very genuine person. He spoiled my mother like no other, and his beliefs and personality were admired by the entire family. Glen died in 2000, as a result of an auto accident. Mom raised four kids, Becky, Cindy, Cheryl, and Mike. Mom shared time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mom also raised one of her Great Grandsons, Skylar. Mom just never stopped being mom; she made sure none of her family ever went without. Mom had the "southern" personality of being an out-spoken person, and she raised her kids to stand up and be heard, if something was not right. Mom loved the many years she worked at Thiokol, as an Inspector. Mom enjoyed cooking and having family over to gobble it up. Through the years, mom continued contact with her brothers and sisters; Norbert, Harry, EJ, Doretha and Catherine - all of Indiana and Kentucky. Mom will always be loved and missed. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Aaron's Mortuary and Crematory of Ogden.
