Margaret H. Butler

Margaret H. Butler passed away on Friday, December 25, 2009 at her home. She was born July 13, 1926 in Ogden, Utah to Samuel Earl and Alta Steers Head.

She lived in Ogden most of her life - graduating from Ogden High in 1943. She worked at Glen Brothers Music during her high school years. She married Baker C. Watkins April 30, 1945, they had two children together, later divorcing. She then married Robert F. Morris together they had one child, they divorced in 1964. She was married to Norvin Butler and later divorced.

She worked for Ogden First Federal, Weber County Sheriff's Department, and then Citizen's Bank in Roy. She was a member of the Daughter's of the Utah Pioneers and was a member of the Ladies Roy Elk's as well as a past president. She was a foster-grandmother at the Riverdale Elementary School, and a member of the Monte Vista LDS Ward.

Margaret is survived by her daughter Diane Plant, son Alan D. (Sara) Morris, ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, sister Betty Ann (Hal) Davis, uncle Harry (Betty) Steers, nieces; Barbara H. (Gary) Gray, Kathy (Hollis) Davis, Brian (Trina) Davis.

She was preceded by her parents, son Dennis H. Morris and her brother Dewain Head, sister Barbara S. Steers.

The family would like to give a special thanks to IHC Hospice, Vicky, Julie, Ericka, Robin.

In lieu of flowers the family would like donations sent to Intermountain Healthcare at 3776 Wall Avenue. Ogden, Ut. 84405.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at Larkin Mortuary at 11:00 a.m. 496 - 24th St. Ogden, Utah. A viewing will be held Tuesday, December 29th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and also one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be in Ogden City Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Aaron's Mortuary & Crematory, 1600 Washington
