Margaret H. Nath

Margaret H. Nath passed away on June 25, 2015 in Clearfield UT. She was born September 19, 1921 in Wilton, North Dakota to Clarence W. Brooks and Colista Dever Brooks. She attended school in Bouton, Iowa graduating in 1939. During WWII she worked at the ordnance plant manufacturing fifty caliber ammunition for our soldiers. Margaret married Francis T. Nath on April 15, 1946. He passed away Feb. 6, 1997. They moved from Perry Iowa to Clearfield Utah in 1953, and then later moved to Syracuse UT.
Margaret was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday school and vacation bible school. She was also a former member of the Syracuse Lady Lions Club. Margaret was an avid bowler, not starting until the age of fifty and she had to finally stop at the age of eighty seven due to health issues. Mom loved to crochet, read, and work in her flower garden, and spend time with her children and grandchildren.
Margaret is survived by her children Bernard (Diane) Nath, Kathy (Frank) Archuleta. She has seven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren also one brother Hal Edward Brooks, Monroe, Washington. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three brothers Jimmy, Brian, and Leslie Wayne and three sisters Joyce, Bernice and Charlotte (Jackie).
The family would like to express appreciation to Country Pines Assisted Living, Rocky Mountain Care Center and Rocky Mountain Hospice, Dr. Moreland, Sarah, and Karen for their care of Margaret.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at 11:00am at Aaronâs Clearfield Mortuary, 1050 So. State St. Clearfield UT. The family will meet with friends from 9:30am to 10:45am prior to the service. Interment, Syracuse City Cemetery.
