Margie H. Gomez, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed peacefully from this life to glory on February 8, 2015 at the home of her sister and brother- in- law, AnnaJane and Charlie.  Margie was born to Dallas and Lillie Gallegos on May 24, 1943 in Del Norte, Colorado; she was raised and educated in Ogden.  She married Ralph Gomez, they later divorced, their  children are Ralph Chris Gomez, Delphina Gomez and Paul “Charles Chops” Gomez.   Margie adopted her grandson, Justin Gomez and helped raise grandson, Brandon Gomez.

Surviving are her children, Chris, Delphina, Charles and Justin (Jenny) Gomez; grandchildren, Brandon Gomez, Desmond (Stephanie) Gomez and Nathan (Amanda) Martinez;  ten great-grandchildren and siblings, Sally Jaramillo, Charlie (Leslie) Gallegos, Frankie (Susie) Gallegos, Connie (Juan) Florez, AnnaJane (Charlie) Arroyo and Yvonne Devlin;  sister- in-law, Anna Gallegos.
She was preceded in death by her parents;  infant daughter, Antoinette;  siblings, Arthur Gallegos, Ruby Mata, Vicentita “Shanie” Vigil Perez, Dallas Freddie Gallegos and brother- in-law, Jose Jaramillo.
During her last days, Margie often expressed thanks for her daughter, Delphina for the care she gave her during her valiant battle against cancer; for the support of Justin, Jenny, Brandon, Connie, Yvonne and AnnaJane.     Special thanks to the many family and friends who visited Margie; to the staff at Heritage Park, Hospice of Utah, Dr. Holland and staff and McKay Dee Oncology.
