Maria S Favila

Our beloved mother, Maria S. Favila passed away December 27, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Pierdas Negras, Coahuila Mexico, the daughter of Felipe and Jovita Ponce Saucedo. She married Manuel Ramos Favila in Mexico and together they had seven children. She was a member of St Joseph Catholic Church. She is survived by her loving family, daughters, Elva Favila, Blanca Avalos and Yolanda (Felipe) Betancourt; three sons, Manuel (Diana), Alberto (Sandra), Hector Favila and Maria Alejos. She was the proud grandmother of 32 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her daughter, Irene Avalos. She was a strong woman of faith and loved her family deeply. Our family will cherish the memories of this incredibly strong woman who was the foundation of the family. She was always there to lend an ear and provide guidance to anyone in need. A very special thank you to our brothers Manuel and Hector for taking care of our precious mother. She will be missed by all. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, December 31, 2012 at 2 pm at St Joseph Catholic Church, 514 24th Street, Ogden, Utah. A viewing will be held Sunday evening, December 30, 2012 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at Aaron's Mortuary, 496 24th Street, Ogden. Holy Rosary at 7:30 pm. Interment Ogden City Cemetery.
