Marilyn Nadel Turner was born in Ogden, UT on April 17, 1931 to Josephine Anderson Nadel Gibson and Grant Nadel. She passed away in the comfort of her home on March 10, 2022 at the age 90.
She lived a long full life with her true love William Stuart Turner. They were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple and were together for 67 years. She graduated from Ogden High School and Weber State College with an Associates Degree. After raising her 5 children she worked at Marquardt Corp, Cutter Laboratories and later Fresenius Medical Supply. She and Stuart enjoyed square dancing all over the western United States with their friends. She was a talented seamstress and taught Adult Continuing Education classes in sewing. There wasn’t anything she couldn’t create from Easter dresses for her girls, square dancing dresses for herself and friends and even an ice fishing tent for her grandson in law. She also made the most beautiful wedding cakes imaginable. Marilyn and Stuart served on a LDS mission in the Ogden Temple for several years. She is survived by her children, Victoria Kaye Youtsey, Kathy Grandin (Bruce), Susan Slaughenhaupt (Jerry), Stacy Turner (Corinne), Irene O’Dell, 11 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.
"The family would like to thank the wonderful care givers at Symbi Homecare and Hospice especially Miriam her nurse aide and Jamie her physical therapist."
