Mario Isaac Montoya

Mario Isaac Montoya, a beloved member of the Ogden community, passed away on October 20, 2024, at the age of 60, Born on November 20, 1963, to Josephine Rangel and Isaac Montoya.

Mario was known and will be remembered for his kind heart, infectious smile, caring personality and genuine love for those around him. He was a dedicated father, brother, grandpa, and uncle always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Mario had a passion for life and enjoyed spending time cooking breakfast, fixing cars, and raising his grandchildren. He was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan. Mario’s presence will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him. 

His life will forever be cherished through his legacy, and his story will continue through his children: Melissa, Mathew, Starla, Amber, Marissa, Frank, Mariah, Angel, Dominique; his brother, Isaac Montoya; and sisters: Fina, Tina, and Lisa Montoya; as well as many beautiful grandchildren.

Mario was preceded in death by his parents, Josephine and Isaac; grandparents, Guadalupe and Jose Rodriquez; and many aunts, uncles, niece, nephew, and grandson.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 28, 2024 at Aaron’s Mortuary, 496 24th Street, Ogden, from 6 to 8 p.m.. Inurnment will be at Ogden City Cemetery on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at 11 a.m., followed by a Celebration of Life service at Cold Spring Trout Farm in Ogden from 3 to 7 p.m. All are welcome to join for dinner to celebrate his life.
