Marvin S. Knudtson 80, "Marvelous Marv" and "Dr. of Hugs",passed away peacefully at home in Eden Utah surrounded by his loving family on Memorial Day, May 27th 2013. He was born in Aberdeen Washington on March 15th 1933. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving proudly in the US Navy. He married Charlotte Valentine (deceased) in 1953. After a long a long career at Xerox in Fremont California, he married Judith Anderson Brown. Marvin was a stalwart member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints fulfilling his callings with great joy. Marvin is survived by his wife Judith I. Knudtson of Eden Utah; brother Gary Ray Knudtson and wife Linda of Thousand Oaks California; sons, Scott Knudtson and wife Linda of Liberty Utah, Craig Steven Knudtson of Eden Utah, and Eric Edward Brown of Ogden Utah; daughter Jennifer Isabel Horne and husband Allan of Bangkok Thailand; grandchildren, Emery Knudtson and wife Annette, Brady Knudtson and wife Meredith, Lacey Hendricksen and Husband Dan, Abbey Wagley and husband Evan and Karly Dwyer and husband Mark; 12 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Nicholas Knudtson, mother Alma Graham; sisters, Shirley and Margarette Anderson; infant daughter, June Knudtson. A viewing and memorial service will be held on Monday, June 3, 2013 from 6-8 pm at Aarons Mortuary, 496 24th St., Ogden, Utah.
