Mary Louise Boney Jacobo

October 6, 1950 — August 19, 2016

Mary Louise Boney Jacobo, 65, passed away on Friday, August 19, 2016 at McKay Dee Hospital.

She was born October 6, 1950 in Mora, New Mexico; a daughter of Nasario Boney and Emma Padilla.

Mary graduated in 1987 and served the community as a CNA for 18 yrs. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Mary married Reuben Jacobo Sr. and later divorced.

Mary loved to go dancing with her sisters and friends, she loved watching football with her brothers and enjoyed when family visited her. The was nothing more special than spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, they were the pride and joy of her life. She expressed her thoughts and never held back what she was thinking, she was going to let you know what was on her mind. She loved to relax by completing cross word puzzles.

Mary Louise is survived by three children, Reuben Jacobo Jr., Melinda Boney (Laron Nathaniel) and Anthony Boney, all of Ogden, UT.; nine grandchildren, Candice Jacobo, Chas Jacobo, Alyssa Jacobo Jayden B, Andrea Boney, Isaia Nathaniel, Marcel Nathaniel and Angelise Boney, all of Ogden; nine great grandchildren, all of Ogden; Two Sisters, Stella (Henry) Jacobo and Yolanda Boney, both of Ogden; six brothers, Joe (Floyd), Willie, Alex (Dianne), Johnny (Jean), Max (Tilda), all of Ogden,  and Tom Boney (Teresa) of Farr West. Many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly, all of Ogden.

She is preceded in death by both parents, Nasario and Emma Boney; grandparents, Julian and Beatrice Padilla; sister Mary (Jenny) Ortiz; Nieces Anaya Boney, Dominika Barrella Boney and nephew T.J. Boney.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Pleasant View dialysis and McKay Dee Hospital for the care they provided to our beloved mother. A special Thank you to Scott who performed CPR that allowed her family to share a few more days with her.

Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 10 am at St Joseph’s Catholic Church, 514 24th Street, Ogden, UT.  Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 from 6 to 8 pm with Holy Rosary at 7 pm at Aaron’s Mortuary, 496 24th Street, Ogden, UT.
