Mary Alice Noriega

Mary Alice Noriega, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away Saturday, May 18, 2024, at McKay-Dee Hospital. Mary Alice, or Mary as she was known by many, was born to Tony S. Montoya, Sr., and Dina Ruth Mascarenaz on April 3, 1961, in Ogden, Utah, where she lived her entire life. She attended Ogden city schools. She married Steve Noriega on April 9, 1988, in Ogden.

Mary is survived by her husband, Steve Noriega; son, Dallas (Tori) and grandson, Elijah; stepchildren, Preston Noriega, Michelle (Ryan) Nelson; as well as 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers and sister: Louis (Carol) Montoya, John Amador, Cory (Melanie) Rodriguez, Debra Proctor, Annette Montoya, Lisa (Ike) Amador Montoya; and many nieces and nephews. She had special relationships with her brothers and sisters in law.  She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ben, and Tony S. Montoya, Jr.; and sister, Maryalice, who died in infancy; sisters, Rebecca Paikai, Elizabeth Hunt; and stepdaughter, Yolanda Alarcon. 

Mary is so loved and will be missed by many. Special thanks to CNA Misty, and the staff at McKay-Dee Hospital. At Mary's request she will be cremated.
